covering like wax paper or plastic.

Time needed for project:
1.5 to 2 hours

Materials Needed:
- Masking Tape
- Assorted Folk Art acrylic paint, 2 oz. bottles
2578 New Leaf Green
2550 Daffodil Yellow
629 Red Light
671 Metallic Peridot
493 Metallic Bright Red
- 1 Pre-stretched canvas

Directions:
1. Use masking tape to section off large areas on the canvas. Tape in lines going every direction, diagonal lines create the most movement! Remember- wherever the tape is placed there will be a white stripe!
5-10 min.

2. Paint the areas between the tape in various bright colors (you can paint around the edge of the canvas too if you want!)
20 min.

3. Wait 10 minutes for the paint to dry then remove the masking tap to reveal the white areas.
10 min. + 5 min.

4. Create more lines that overlap what you have already painted. You can put two pieces of tape side-by-side and paint between them to make a line, or you can section off smaller areas that overlap ones you have already painted. Make sure you wait for the paint to dry ten minutes before putting tape over it.
15-20 + 10 min.

5. Repeat step four until you are happy with your colorful striped canvas.
30 – 40 min.
