Sun & Flower Scrapbook Page

Main supplies:

  • Cardstock or construction paper – white, light pink, dark pink, light blue, medium blue, turquoise, , lavender, light yellow, dark yellow and green
  • Printed papers – multi-stripe, green check & yellow check
  • Buttons – orange, pink, purple, light blue and medium blue
  • DecoArt® Twinkles™ – gold
  • Elmer’s® Painters® Opaque Paint Marker – black

Basic Supplies:

  • Fiskars® KidZors® decorative edge scissors – snake, caterpillar, frog, camel, hippo, ladybug and shark
  • Elmer’s® Washable School Glue Stick
  • Fiskars® straight edge scissors
  • Small paint brush



Instructions:

  1. Cut a 7 ¼” x 8 ½” rectangle from green check paper, cutting short side at top with shark edger scissors. Glue the rectangle to the bottom of an 8 ½” x 11” sheet of light blue card stock.
  2. Cut a 4” x 6” rectangle from yellow check paper. Cut a 4 ½” x 6 ½” rectangle from green card stock with shark edge scissors. Glue the yellow check rectangle to the center of the green rectangle. Glue the green rectangle to the center of the page. Glue a photo on the yellow rectangle.
  3. Cut a 2” circle from the light yellow cardstock. Print “Family Fun” on the circle with the marker. Brush the gold glitter Twinkles onto the edge of the circle. Cut a 2 ½” circle from dark yellow cardstock with snake edge scissors. Glue the small circle to the center of the large circle. Make cuts into the large circle and bend the edges upward. Glue the assemble sun to the top left corner of the page.
  4. Cut narrow strips from the yellow cardstock with snake edge scissors. Glue the strips to the light blue area of the page, coming out of the sun.
  5. To make flowers, cut a 2 ½” circle from light pink, dark, pink, turquoise, medium blue and lavender, suing the remaining decorative edge scissors. Cut five 1 ¼” circles from the multi-stripe paper and glue to the center of the flowers. Make cuts into the flower circles and bend the edges upwards. Glue buttons to the flower centers. Glue the flowers to the green check area around the photo.
