Friendship Card
by Sandy Genovese

You will need:
  • Diecut machine and dies or pattern and scissors
  • Glue
  • Colored paper
  • Patterned paper
  • ¼" Hole punch
  • Photograph

Instructions:

  1. Using die cut machine or pattern and scissors cut the handshake card from solid color paper. Fold outside pieces inwards.
  2. Cut each hand from different skin colored paper and sleeves from 2 different, contrasting colors of paper. Using the dies as a guide, cut 2 rectangles from a slightly different shade of paper to create the cuffs. Cut two white rectangles a little smaller than the cuff pieces. Glue the cuff on top of each shirt sleeve. Use hole punch to make a button for each cuff.
  3. Glue an open heart shape on top of the "friendship" photo. Trim the photo even with the edge of the heart. Glue to a solid red heart.
  4. Use decorative edge scissors to cut the heart in half. Each friend will receive the half of the heart with the other friends photo. Next time they meet they will be able to put their pieces together to form one heart again.
  5. Interlock the hands to close the card. . .
